Hosts Kent and Heidi Lagro with U.S. Marine Levi Courtney.
For seven years Longboater Heidi Lagro has hosted her Toys for Tots soiree. The event has been a labor of love for Lagro, and her passion for the annual event brought more than 75 Longboaters to Arbomar Condominiums Dec. 2.
The annual gala was glitzy and glamorous with a purpose — to provide toys to needy girls and boys in the region. Lagro collected more than 73 gifts for Toys for Tots. On hand to assist with donations was U.S. Marine Levi Courtney, who served seven months in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Courtney was outfitted in his regal Marine uniform and greeted guests as they arrived.
