Longtime Manatee High fans pumped up for state championship

What do all Manatee County football fans want for Christmas?A state championship trophy.The Manatee high school football team will have a chance to bring one home onFriday night when they play against First Coast for the state title in Orlando.Cane pride is flowing all through out Manatee County from Manatee Avenueto Brown and Sons funeral home on 43rd street in Bradenton."I''ve been to every state championship game," says Gene Brown, longtime Manatee High football fan.6 generations of Browns have graduated from Manatee High, from Gene Brown's great grandmother to his son, except for Gene."I went to Bayshore," says Brown.
