Man Arrested for Bank of America, BB&T Robberies

A 44-year-old Holmes Beach man is facing charges for two bank robberies this week in Sarasota.
Sarasota Police arrested Danny Nemeth, 112 31st St., Holmes Beach on Friday following a search and confession of a Bank of America , 3715 Fruitville Road, robbery that happened at 4:40 p.m. Friday and a Wednesday robbery at BB&T bank, 3201 N. Tamiami Trail.
During Friday's robbery, police said that Nemeth approached the teller with a bag and said "Fill my bag with everything you god. No dye pack or I"ll come back and hurt you."
The teller filled the bag with an undisclosed amount of cash and as Nemeth feld off, a witness spotted is primer grey Nissan pick-up leaving the scene.
Officer Johnson located a vehicle matching the description of the truck observed by the witness near University Parkway and North Lockwood Ridge Road.
