State Road 72 in Sarasota is closed in both directions at the Bee Ridge Road extension, according to the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office.
A crash occurred where one of the vehicles involved was possibly truck carrying pool chemicals which have spilled, according to the sheriff's office.
