Police Chief DiPino To Speak At District 1 Forum

District 1 City Commissioner Willie Shaw will host a community forum Tuesday, Jan. 8, at the Robert L. Taylor Community Complex, 1845 34th Street. Updates will be provided on initiatives occurring within District 1 with an opportunity for questions. Residents, business owners and District 1 stakeholders are encouraged to attend.
Vice Mayor Shaw and City Manager Tom Barwin will introduce the new Chief of Police Bernadette DiPino. The Vice Mayor also will discuss the top two priorities for District 1 in 2013: clean up and development of the Marian Anderson Place brownfield site and creation of a small business incubator.
