The annual meeting of members of the Longboat Key Moorings was over in less than an hour and was followed by a barbecue feast catered by chef and owner Choo Choo.
During the meeting Moorings President Steve Petty updated the group of slip owners about how the year went fiscally and how their water conservation efforts are paying off. Petty reported that water usage is down about 20 percent, and he said the drip irrigation improvements as well as stressing conservation in boat cleaning is making
