The Manatee County Sheriff's office is conducting a death investigation after a man's body was discovered floating in the waters of the bay today.
Boaters discovered the body floating in the water between the tip of Anna Maria Island and the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. The sheriff's office was called out the scene. There was no evidence of foul play and an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death, according to a report from the sheriff's
