I have had a couple of emails asking the same question so I thought I would give you guys a little feedback as it may help more than the couple of folks who emailed.
When I look at prices I am ultimately looking for the best cost per ounce or cost per item. Many products come in varied sizes and often it may be hard to determine which is the better deal. Luckily Publix does the work for us. On their shelf tags they list the price per ounce/unit for each item!
Ok...I am a couponer not a photographer--tee hee!
In the picture above you can see that the 22 oz bottle of cleaner is on sale for $3.89 (or as the tag indicates – 17.68¢ per ounce). So, you can easily scan the various brands of cleaners to see what the best price per ounce is without whipping out a calculator!
