Booker Elementary To Receive Donated School Supplies

An international charity and a local manufacturer are teaming up to help students at Emma E. Booker Elementary School get a fresh start to the new school year.
Representatives of World Vision and PGT Industries will arrive at the school today to donate 250 backpacks and school supplies to students.
World Vision is a worldwide Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families and communities. PGT Industries, a Venice-based manufacturer and supplier of residential impact-resistant windows and doors, directs its corporate giving to local recipients.
