Christmas night crash kills one in Manatee County
MANATEE COUNTY - A collision on State Road 64 Christmas night caused one vehicle to roll over several times, taking the life of a young Bradenton man.It happened at 9:25pm at the intersection of State Road 64 and Rye Road.According to Florida Highway Patrol, a Nissan driven by a 73-year-old Lakewood Ranch resident was traveling on Rye Road and stopped at the stop sign at State Road 64, and then proceeded into the intersection and into the path of a westbound Chevy pickup truck.The truck struck the left front of the Nissan, and then overturned several times, coming to a rest on its
