Woman held at gunpoint during home invasion
BRADENTON - Deputies in Manatee County are investigating a home invasion in which a woman woke up to find a gun pointed at her.It happened around 11:30am Wednesday morning in the 2500 block of 51st Avenue Terrace West. Deputies say the 28-year-old victim was sleeping on the couch when two men came through the front door.She woke up to find a gun pointed at her and the men asking for “the stuff.”After she told them that there was no “stuff”, she was taken to the bedroom where one of the men emptied out her purse taking cash and her cellphone.The pair then took off after they heard someone in another bedroom. Nobody was injured.
