Art Center Sarasota Opens 4 New Exhibits

1. Art Center Sarasota will open four new exhibits in its galleries starting today. A free public reception is tonight from 5 to 7 p.m. The galleries include:
•Rachel Simmons: Wonders of the Sea
•Wayne Levin: Resident Spirits
•Rick Herzog: Everything is Touching by Underground Wires
•Deep See - Juried Exhibition
The galleries are open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays-Saturdays. The exhibit closes Sept. 28.
2. The Baltimore Orioles will face off against the Tampa Bay Rays in a three-game series at Tropicana Field Friday through Sunday. Friday's game includes a Luke Scott T-shirt giveaway and Sunday is a special children's day where the first 10,000 kids 14 and younger will receive a free DJ Kitty Bobblehead and after the game The Wiggles will perform a free concert.
