Teen confesses to stealing probation officer's gun
BRADENTON, Fla. - A teen accused of breaking into a probation officer's home is behind bars in Manatee County.Bradenton Police first responded to calls of shots being fired at a home in the 2300 block of 9th Avenue West just after 7:30pm Wednesday. When they arrived, they found a 16-year-old in the front yard with a gun.He was taken into custody for questioning, where he admitted the gun was stolen.As it turns out, the gun belonged to a state probation officer whose home had been broken into on Monday.
