Town Manager Dave Bullock announced that he is advertising this week for a new director of the Planning, Zoning and Building Department at a salary range from $76,024 to $117,728.
This follows the resignation of former Director Monica Simpson, who earned $104,520 plus benefits at the time of her exiting the position. Simpson resigned earlier this month following an investigation into allegations of a hostile work environment. Simpson has since been retained as an independent contractor to work on select issues of her expertise.
The job is posted on the town website and will soon to be advertised on other websites. Following is the actual listing:
